FOTO SAFARI TOUR:

If you are short on time, or not into “roughing it”, this full day tour gives you a great over view of all the natural wonders Torres del Paine has to offer.

                It is a half day tour, should be in the morning or in the afternoon, "The Milodon Cave" is around 30 minutes driving to the northwest of Puerto Natales, doesn"t exist public transportation just private.

Leaving Ushuaia city Southwest, we will travel through national route number 3, towards Tierra del Fuego’s National Park.

Along the eleven kilometers that separate the entrance of the Park and the city of Ushuaia, we will make a stop near the Centro Hípico (Riding Club), where we will enjoy som excellent panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia`s Peninsula and Bridges`, Willie’s and Les Eclauriers’ Islands.

Half day tour in Agua Fresca Bay, 27 kilometers south of Punta Arenas, beach, mountains and forest at the shore offer a natural environment, here is good chances to see wild life, sea birds, sea lions and dolphins. This is supported by a large kelp forest in this place. In general the tour starts at a small shallow river, after you practice in this place we move to the Magellan Strait waters and paddle for about 2 hours.

THE KAYAK EXPEDITION OF ABOUT 2.5 HOURS DEPARTS DAILY AT 9 AM, 1 PM AND 5 PM IN GROUPS FROM 3 TO 12 PERSONS.
IN THE BASE CAMP YOU WILL DRESSED WITH A NEOPRENE SUIT, WATERPROOF JACKET AND BOOTS, POOGIES (KAYAK GLOVES), SKIRT, LIFE-JACKET.
IN A SAFETY BRIEFING YOU WILL GET TO KNOW YOUR KAYAK, PADDLE, ROUTE AND CONDITIONS.

Visable from Puerto Natales and located just 11 km ( 6.8 miles ) away of town , Sierra Dorotea forms a ridge line heading off to the North West , on it’s way to Torres del Paine.
It’s location makes for great half or full day visits with horseback riding and trekking to choose from .
 
Horseback Riding:

Your day begins with an early morning boarding of one of two yatchs heading up the Straight of Ultima Esperanza on the way to the glaciers you will pass thru Patagonian fijords , see uninhabited islands , watch flocks of breeding cormarants and other sea birds crowding along the cliffs . Is possible that is your lucky day and you may see the Sea Lions visit the glaciers . Waterfalls and Condors can be observed for sure along the way .
